If you are in the last position in a round you should maximize your chances by betting when your opponents do not, if your opponents bet then you raise on their bet, whatever happens you are maximizing your chances of winning and making your opponent uncertain of whether he has made the right decision to continue the game. In the beginning of a round or tournament it is important to remember to rather not take any large risks until you have progressed far enough in to the game where this would not hurt you financially.
